"If you find in your heart to
care for somebody else, you
will have succeeded."
Welcome to the website of The Thomas J. Long Foundation. Our
Foundation has a proud tradition of supporting charitable organizations in
the East Bay Area and Hawaiian Islands since 1972.
The Foundation operates on a responsive grant making basis and awards
grants in five selected fields of interest. Grant proposals are considered
semi-annually in the spring and fall using a competitive application
process. We are currently accepting requests for application to our Fall
2009 grant cycle. The last day to request an application is July 15th. All
proposals for the Fall 2009 grant cycle are due no later than Friday July
31st.
Our application process is described in full detail under the "Application
Process" tab. Any questions that cannot be answered by the information
presented in this website may be directed to the Foundation office.
